![]() ![]() No matter if the tree is crooked or leaning I've always been able to get in it and keep my stand level. The X-Stand is a little lighter than the Open Shot and looks like it backpacks better. I currently have a Summit Open Shot and have also owned a Summit Bushmaster. now if it was 5-6 lbs that'd be pretty substantial. I have been looking at the X-Stand Climbers and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these stands. The reason for me looking at the x stand is the LW is built 's a rock solid stand.the LW Assault II that I have weighs 12.5 lbs.so the 10lbs of the x stand isn't earth shattering. ![]() Has a unique bracket and leveling system I like in some ways, makes it easy to hang in difficult trees. Took a lot of work with hockey tape and stealth strips to silence it, but it is dead silent now. X-stand The Apache Climber Safford Trading Company X-stand The Apache Climber 199. I'm not sure I would want to be a 250 or 300 pound dude in it. I feel confident in it but.it certainly doesn't seem overbuilt. ![]() Platform is actually a little bigger (wider) than I would prefer. Had all the features I was looking for and I don't buy the argument that stands need to be cast aluminum. Good and light, for that reason alone suprised this stand doesn't have more fans on here, but it is a heavily LW influenced crowd.
